After watching some beautiful pre-dawn colours from higher ground I wandered down the hillside to photograph this tree as the sun came up. Low lying mist and a thick haze produced lovely subtle shades on this very quiet and still morning. Thoughts/nits appreciated, Thanks Tristan

Very nice comp and wonderful light. Great to look at.
The light and depth of the image is really good - great shot. I guess the only thing i would say otherwise is a little to bright for my taste at the top?
Great shot nonetheless !

An excellent atmospheric image. Hawthorns can be very photogenic, as this one is, IMHO.

Hi Tristan,
Stunning. Lovely subtle colours and an excellent composition. The larger version really shows the little details, like the Sheep in the field!!
Great stuff

Beautiful light, especially on the tree. Envious - misty, dull and raining here :-(

I like the composition with the diagonals and the way the shape of the tree follows the line of the trees and field edge. Its a pity there is so little interest in the sky.
Great shot though and must look wonderful on a LF tranny.
Well done

Just wonderful, I cant imagine a more realistic scene, you are the master of subtlety. How many other photographers would be jacking the saturation in search of some colour.... its a reference to others I hope of how post processing can enhance realism rather than turn it into a digital interpretation. I saw this on your site earlier today and I am very pleased to see it here, BRAVO!
