Wow - personally that is an absolutely stunning shot !

is there a bit of fringing? or is it just the trees.

Great shot !

It is one of a batch of 4 - just found out that I can only post once every 72 hours - initially I thought that was a hinderance, but now realise it allows every shot to get the viewing time it deserves.. good call..
thanks for the comments.

I agree with Jack about the sun, but I love the lighting and the silhouette of the deer.

Really nice but is a shame you didn't include all of the sun which is so important on a shot like this. I would be tempted to crop it to a panoramic as it looks really strong when you do.

Very nice. I agree with Danny - its even stronger as a pano...

Welcome! :wavey:

Lovely shot, I agree about cropping to pano, I think it would work well. The colours are beautiful, and very atmospheric.

Can't wait to see more!!

Very nice image. Perhaps a slightly lower viewpoint would have given more of the stag against the lighter background, at the moment it looks a bit disembodied to me. Fine exposure and conversely I quite like the sun as it is.
