Barn Owl
Hi all

Now that the madness of the summer season is coming to an end - I run a tea room in Norfolk - I managed to get out with the camera the other evening, intent on snapping a barn owl that I've often seen perched on a dead tree stump. Job done!

The way that the perch snake towards the bird and the direction of the head turn is just perfect. The light is bonus. :toast:

there's nothing more satisfying than getting the shot you intended to get, and this is a beauty. The perch and lighting are lovely.

Hi Simon,

Lovely light and composition. Just give it a touch more USM. Send me a PM and tell me where your tea room is and I'll pop in for a cuppa  EDIT, just found your tea room website, next time I'm that way I'll give you a shout.

Regards

Rob

Great composition, pose and wonderful light. The light area in the top right is a bit distracting.

What a beauty, composition, light and a gorgeous bird. I agree about the light, top right and would clone it away myself!
