Loch Ness
Just back from a nice trip to Scotland. I took this shot up Loch Ness from a pub near our B&B. It was quite late in the evening and I used my 5D and 24-105 f4L. Not much done in PS other than to try and get rid of the usual dust problems (is that just me!).

Paul,

You have some nice atmosphere here, although the one thing that bothers me are the stakes in the water (bottom left).

I think this could work better if they were used to draw you into the photograph, ie. at an angle heading away from you instead of parallel to you.

Looks like a beautiful location, well done.

Lovely subtle colours Paul. I think Rob makes a good point on the stakes. They are a really nice point of interest - perhaps getting much closer to them, either physically of with a longer lens, would get more out of them. I like the idea of using the compression of a long lens to emphasize the size of those mountains in the background. Tristan

Agreed, you have kept the realism, its just wasnt your night for lighting.
