Ringed Turtle Dove
These large doves are new to or area, but becoming more common. They are almost too large for or songbird feeders.

I have always thought doves to be a beautiful bird. They seem to have an inquisitive look to them This is great shot of one. The are a good sized bird. I see many including the ringed ones around, especially when I put out safflower and sunflower seeds in the feeder as well. Nice job.

Well done. My first thought was a Eurasian Collared-Dove, so I had to look up to find the difference between the species. Evidently they look very similar and the call is the best way to separate the species.

Very nice, I really like the control of the whites here and the slightest of catch light in the dove's eye. Thanks for sharing. :wavey:
