Hiking in the La Sals
I really hope you guys and gals aren't tired of seeing photos from the La Sals. I thought I would post this image today, to give you an idea of what it's like to hike there right now. I did a 3 mile loop past 2 alpine lakes yesterday before work and found some of the finest views of fall colors yet. Once again, I filled 2 memory cards and am now officially backlogged on processing work. I'm hopping on the motorcycle to take another trip up there as soon as I post this. I've got two hikes planned for today!

Thanks for having a look and leaving a comment.

This is a gorgeous image Bret! I love the aspen leaf lined path and the starburst to put it over the top. Fine work and someday I hope I can hike up in the La Sals too!

Hi, this is a great one. I liked the windy one, but this is excellent as well. It looks like you are revitalized, and back in the saddle. Good for you!

Great image. Nice to get the sun and the trail makes a nice addition to the trees.

Colors look good in all you images, so it looks like a decent fall color year.

Well folks, I didn't make it to the La Sals. I started up there and got hit with rain and hail, saw big fat bolts of lightning crashing in the mountains and decided to turn around. On the bright side, there is now snow in them thar hills! And, I've got the next 4 days off. Oh yes, I will return.
