I have been so very busy trying to get my place under control, it was getting like a jungle, and has taken me all summer. So have not done much photography but here is one taken from one of the hides.
I have a love/hate relationship with these birds, they are a bit numerous down here and they have taken to hanging constantly on the peanut feeders.
Anyway this one I made B&W/, but picked out his eye in the layermask to add a blue touch.

Hi Paula
I like this shot( I happen to like jackdaws too ! )
A different approach and I think the mix of greyscale and colour has worked well.
Just as a matter of interest it would be interesting to see the saturation really taken up on the head.
Cheers

Hi Paula,
Although I'm not a big B&W fan I think I like this one.
It's something completely different then normal.

Halloween has arrived early. It's great to see something different on UKNP. Excellent.
That is a fabulous image Paula. Very unusual and extremely well executed. The B&W works very well.

Really nice handling of the image. It looks like something sinister out of Lord of the Rings !!

Hi Paula,
Fantastic shot! Superb choice of shutter speed! I love photographing Jackdaws but they can hammer the feeders!

Really nice! Very different and artistic. The only thing that would improve this is a bit more sharpening on the eye/head, but thats easily done! It almost looks like it was shot in a studio!
Great work!
