Not too sure this one works but ho hum
D300
Nikon 105mm macro
1/250 sec @ f16 ISO 400
f16 with fill in flash
I reckon this shot cost around £600 to take as when we got back to the car it had been broken into. Bent door frame broken door glass broken tail gate glass. And what did they get away with ?
A wind up torch bought from the pound shop
Any comments as always most welcome
Regards

I like this !
Just that little white starry thing keeps getting my attention though.
Sorry about the car
PS How much was the torch ??!!
Cheers

Works for me, the lighting looks interesting, I might have knocked down the fill ever so slightly, would get rid of the highlight just above the lower DF's farside wing.
Sorry to hear about the car, really makes you wonder at times.....
All the best

nice shot Ian, the composition and DOF are very good. The flash lighting is perhaps a bit strong but a very minor nit.
Sorry to hear about your car, I can imagine how annoying that must be.

Hi Ian,
Agree with reducing the fill a little and the highlight. Other than that a lovely shot showing this fascinating bit of behaviour.
That must have been gut wrenching to go back to your car and find it broken into. Hope it is sorted quickly

Hi Ian,
Beautiful image! A wee bit less fill would have helped a smidge!
So sorry to hear your woes! Sad to think what the world is coming too!
