Hi Keith,

Thats a very nice portrait. Exposure looks good with detail in all areas. Only bit thats a bit distracting is the OoF white stem on the diagonal in the BG.

Regards

Rob

Yes I remember this bird well Kieth. The one the sparrow hawk got in the end.
I love this picture and I've seen it many times. I agree the diagonal OOF stem is a bit distracting. You'll gave to work on it !! :frown: :frown:
Cheers

A beautiful shot of the Redstart but for me the composition is compromised by the upright branch on the left.

Thanks to all for looking and comments.
Robert it's a bit unfortunate but birds tend to use which branch or perch they prefer and not always where the person with the camera would like them to be.

I know what you mean Keith, they can be very inconsiderate on times!

Beautiful bird in nice setting...yes, I agree, they rarely position themselves to their best advantage.

Lovely shot of a bird that is proving elusive to me. Couple of weeks ago one landed in a bush right next to me. Unfortunately he remained partially hidden by a branch. Oh well there's always another day.
