A sublime evening in Wiltshire, the place to be in spring time. The fields roll for miles as do my thoughts... Its always a delight to visit this county in May as the deep rich greens, bright yellows and blues skies are a compliment not to be missed. I spent quite bit of time sitting in the copse listening to the sounds of a returning summer; distant tractors, a small plane and swallows - quite unforgettable.
Taken with the 5D / Zork / Pentax setup again, just like the bluebell woodland.

Hi David,
Nothing better than the English countryside on a warm Spring evening, watching the sunset and having a doze with your back on a mighty Oak. Lovely shot, with the Rape giving a good spalsh of vibrant colour. Did you get a shot with the tops of the FG tress? Just wonderd what it would look like.
Nice shot
Regards
Rob

I couldnt compose it in that way, but I got many different shots of the copse from other angles.

Hi David,
Sweet shot! I can almost hear the birds singing and smell the country air!

Nice ,but I reckon would have been even better with a lower angle and the distant horizon visible being just blow the tree line. A little less contrast might bring some detail into the two shadow areas too.
Good landscape though.
Cheers

Lovely setting and lighting David - looks like the Spring trek gleaned some nice images (and experiences too it seems!).
