plenty of these about at the moment, i thought i'd try something different and put a bit of a studio background in, cut carefully around the base of the mushrooms, as they tend to grow in places that don't make for good BG's. not sure if white works at all, probably now i've done this it would be quite easy to put something false in, but i'm not really into that, was more after the effect of putting just a clean white in, which has also thrown some nice light up under the veins of the underside. i de saturated teh grass as well, which i had to garden a little..but i was thinking it looked somewhat like a cow had eaten the grass, so not entirely unnatural.
comments welcome.
white card BG
2 tripods, one to hold the card and one to hold the BG

Hi Mark,
It sure is different! I like it though! Great point of view! Refreshing! I wonder if you put a blue sky in with cotton wool clouds (that wouldn't be unnatural would it???)

Hi Mark,
Good picture. May be next time put the BG a little further away so the shadows of the mushrooms (Great Parasol Mushroom) is not visible on the BG. That gives you a more natural look and gives the impression of an endless depth.
