That's kind of a misnomer because in this county there's very little fall color. However I liked the patterns and colors of the dead leaves.

Hi Dan,
I love how you used the two main trunks to frame the edges of the image. Very neat. This works for me at both the realistic and abstract levels.

Dan,
I also like the framing created by the trunks. I expect a little bit of swing was involved? I can see your attraction to the leaves, but I'm a little unsure of the overall darkness and heavy shadows behind the leaves. I'm guessing V100?
It's nice Dan, just not as strong as your usual work.

Dan, I like the tree framing and the gold dominating the scene from head to toe. The percentage of darks is what really makes the scene.

I do like the way you've composed this Dan, but my initial reaction was wow, this is really dark. The darkness is really overwhelming for the whole image. Is this how you felt and what you're trying to convey? Perhaps you chose a dark theme because of the dead leafs? I'd be curious to know what you're trying to say with this image.
