SE Ireland dawn
Hi all,

Haven't being posting or commenting much of late under pressure with work.  This is a shot from SE Ireland looking at Wales! 1Ds II, 17-40mm, polariser, ND filters and lots of messing in PS. Gives the shot a bit of a "Planet of the Apes" feel. Sun is blown out but so what.

Cheers MJ

Not sure why no-one has commented yet...

I like this - certainly does have a planet of the apes feel to it! I like the way you have captured the rays of light coming through the clouds. Not much you could have done about the sun...it does tend to be bright!

My nit would be the foreground rocks seem a bit bright somehow, but not sure, as if they were dark it might appear to contrasty...

Hello Michael, looking towards Wales can never be a bad thing ! A bit too much contrast in the foreground for my tastes. NIce sky.
