Autumn's Cones
A past fall image don't really remember where it was taken Bishop, June Lake or Lundy Canyon. I might have warmed it up too much? Would prefer it to be most natural though. Sometimes when you lighten the darks it noticeable and the levels and curves adjustment can send the color in odd directions.

Steve,

Wonderful! Giving me some ideas for this weekend... :-) I guess it's on the warm side, but for the subject matter, I think it fits and I don't have an issue. I love the detail here and the perfect arrangement/balance of leaves and cones.

Great teaser. See you Saturday.

Nice one Steve. I can't comment on processing technique as this laptop is past its prime but if its good its good.

Hi Steve,

The arrangement of the leaves and pine cones makes a lovely pattern.

I do feel that the image is too warm but that shouldn't be too hard to fix if you are so inclined.

Thanks guys, I had a feeling it was too warm.

I like the warmth of the image. If you don't want a curves layer to change the saturation of the image, change the blending mode to luminosity.
