Skipping fall color this year? Well, I guess that will be one less photog to rub elbows with in Lundy canyon or JLL.... :-) just kiddin'
A very nice scene and bold display of the cottonwood in autumn. I'm kinda wishing the clouds were on the left for some balance, but it still works. Compression is pretty apparent around the fringes of the tree and the sky and I would consider cloning out the white box on the right. Otherwise, nice image.
I like the juxtaposition of the main tree with its strong color and the foliage in the distance. Looks like a wonderful day to be outside.

Yep Lon skipping Fall color for 2008.. Have not really edited my 2007 shots still.. This shot is one of them... I am a bit slow on processing images...
