Paul,
Glad to see your excellent work recognized this way. I always look forward to your images, as well as to your thoughtful expert comments. I am thrilled that someone with your exceptional talent and expertise pays so much attention to the work of us northeastern forest dwellers, too.
WOW, this was truly a nice surprise. Sorry it took me awhile to respond and thank everyone for this honor as well as the comments posted here from the wonderful folks who have always supported & helpd me out too. However, I just got back from the Eastern Sierras a few hours ago where we had an outstanding lunch get together with many of the CANP folks yesterday afternoon. What a great bunch of people we have here on a personal level, as well as the photographic talent is just amazing all along the various categories and different styles in general. Thank you again.

Congratulations Paul. A well deserved honor. Your body of work is outstanding.
Great seeing you this weekend although it's too bad we didn't have more time for some photographing. See ya next time.
