Fraid it is the same over in the west loads of noise and little if any contact sport.
Fallow barking well, but for both hinds not fully into season, cold snap needed really to bring it on full scale, or so I believe??

Car as rain shelter!!
A very nice, sharp and detailed portrait.
The vegetation hanging from the antlers and the eye contact works great.

Nice capture Paul.
One minor thing, his head is turned slightly towards the left edge of the frame but the pic looks slightly out of balance as you've got more empty space on the right, when in fact it needs to be on the left.
It would work well with the same amount of free space left and right too - but as it is it needs cropping slightly imo.
800 pixels is a tad oversize too - or did I miss something?

Hi Paul, Nice natural history shot with lots of detail. The nits have already been mentioned and the 2nd post is relatively soft on reflection. I'm not sure about the 'almost square' format either. I think it would benefit from a little more space T&B and a shave more off the RHS. This is all personal opinion mind, but thanks for sharing.

I think it looks OK. Good portrait. Nice and sharp as well.

Would certainly hang better over to the right a bit.
