I'm terribly bored with landscapes right now.

I like this one much better than the first one. This has many more interesting lines/textures/colors.

I like your honesty. I usually revert to macro when bored...esp fun to find the oddball weirdo stuff in mini-insect scenes just out in my backyard...then I post on macro. Ken S
Good one, again, Mark. I'm glad you said that about landscapes. Now, not that I dislike shooting them or viewing all the beautiful work being done and shown here at NPN. Quite the contrary. But, there IS more to life... OTOH, this is an online forum for nature photography. Hence, the horns of a dilemma...
Anyway, I like all the squares. And then there's the crooked door. My mind is enjoying playing with that idea.

I think I'm on the other end of the curve, into landscapes as much as ever. I just wish I had more time to get out and shoot. Next year should be better.
However, I do like variety and appreciate your throwing up shots that bring a bit of it. I really like this one. The colors and lines are very intriguing, and I think your composition is spot on.

Lines, little bit of texture and shape, i dig it. Mark, i guess where i live, Olympic Peninsula, its tough to get a wide open landscape shot, and i guess my problem is i get tired of trying to find one, weekend photographer as i am. I find myself walking the woods looking for that close up nature shot, i guess i should start walking the cities also as you have. :)

I'm just seeing so many photos that look the same on the forums these days. I'm not seeing anything original or creative. I'm not really seeing even any attempts and being original or creative. Awesome sunset, calm lake, a log angling in pointing towards the center. Seen it, seen it seen it!
