A few people here know of my long term hobby of photographing vanity license plates on the cars of birders. I started this in 1979 when I lived in NJ and have been taking these photos ever since. I've finally managed to get all of them (that I can find in my slide files) up in galleries on my web site - it is the task that's kept me rather busy this past week or more and limited my participation in the critique forums.

Please take some time and visit my galleries to see the variety of plates and the ingenuity of birders in selecting their plates.

Neat collection, Richard. All those Pennsylvania plates made me think of Hawk Mountain. Just the right time of year, too.

An impressive collection, Richard. It's a bit scary: I know some of these people... I've ridden in a couple of these vehicles...

Neat Richard, fun idea. I'll let you know when I get one and you can come up to Saskatchewan to photograph it.

Hmmm, I think I've seen some of those plates at Magee. I even know one of them...
