Hi,

The rut is starting in Richmond Park so looks good for the meet next weekend....

Best is this stag and his harem are just a few hundred yards away from the bacon sarnies

All the best

Hi Phil,
Do you think the rut will still be on the weekend after (18th-19th) ?

Cracking shot and wonderful animal. I hope to make such pictures at Bradgate this year.

Great stuff.

Spot on. Certainly one of the best Red shots Ive seen.
Perhaps a tiny bit more surround ?
Cheers

Even better than you described Phil, a real stunner. I am looking forward to the meet, and hope I can produce as good an image as this! Well I can try

Bit tight on the left

Apart from that a cracking image Phil, as per the norm. Image has a nice 'depth' to it and that 400 2.8 bokeh looks slightly nicer than that of the 200-400 Nikor.

Impressive image that looks very well crafted in PP too - nice one :wavey:

Great shot Phil, nice DoF/soft background. A bit tight on left as another mentioned, but love the pose.

Superb Phil, maybe a bit tight on the left as mentioned, but the comp is so good that the eye goes straight across the picture to the right and it doesn't bother me at all.
