Mouse or vole?
:jump: Well, it's not so happy whatever it is :jump:

1d2n, 600mm f4 is x1.4 tc, 1/320s, f6.3, iso 640. Setting sun. Background is autumn grass on distant hill. Slight crop.

I had only a few seconds to get this, and had to open the car door and jam the rig between the door and car frame. Can’t straighten my neck yet – but I’m happy!

Gulp.

Vole - the tail is hairy and short.

Pretty bird

Excellent shot. Defimitely a vole - the tail gives it away.
