Stumped Kingfisher
Kingfisher
Taken during a Snipe hide session and using the stump I put in for Snipe. Nice bonus I suppose Would have been nice if the rain had been heavier with some better streaks.

Wow, how do you do it; so many very good shots of so many different species...
Wonderful, I love the light, the bird's pose and the composition.

Not been on for a while due to a change in direction of my photography and work comittments, but have to say WOW congratulations John, this has to be in my opinion one of the best shots Ive seen on this site since Ive been a member.

The colours of the bird, stump and I'm guessing flooded river water compliment each other a perfect..

Hi John, I really like this shot. The composition and riot of colour in the bird really makes it. I do think that the end of the bill is a little soft, but could be this monitor I'm using at the University..! I think it might take a little more USM..

Kind regards,

Brett :toast: :toast:
