I have just spent two days on the Lincolnshire coast and on Saturday the wind was blowing a gale in the afternoon and was blowing the sand around on the sandflats. I have always wanted to get a shot like this so go back year after year, this year I got Lucky.

Hi Danny,
Very atmospheric. The seal has a look of "help me". There is a feeling of loniless and harshness. Well worth going back year after year and your patience and perserverance has paid off.
Nice one Danny..... hopefully I will be back again this year.... relying on you to ensure conditions are right and that there is no surge tide.....

Matt, my lens is covered up with a cover and the camera seems fine, I wouldn't take a Nikon out there though
Brett, she was heading towards the sea and didn't see me until late so hence the startled look which I surpose would startle anyone.
Phil Ah those where the days when the bombs arrived, hope you have better luck this year round give me a ring the day before you are going and then I can avoid going
