A White Sparrow
Hi all...

A few weeks ago while staying on a farm we saw amongst a host of sparrows, a white one. It appeared to co-habit quite happily with the others.

It's not a true albino, but leucisitic, in that it does not have an albino's red eyes, and does have a few flecks of brown on the wing.

This was one picture I took...

Great. !
Lovely exosure too.
We have a colony around the farm with half whites but not as perfect as this !
They don't normally last long due to predation.
Cheers

Nice exposure and comp David - what a superb wee birdie to get in front of your lens :wavey:

I'd remove the light toned out of focus leaf breaking into the right side of the frame.

Nice image :wavey: :wavey:

Very unusual, I've never seen one before. Also a lovely image, the pose is very nice and nice clean background too. I agree about the leaf on the right, but no big deal.
