These aspen may be the most vibrant aspen I've seen. The color absolutely popped, especially against the shadowed background of spruce. Unfortunately, most of the color is blocked up in the sRGB color space and I suppose these probably don't come across on the web quite how I would like, but hopefully I've conveyed most of the color.

The title refers to the Munsell color system, a 3 dimensional way of looking at color. Chroma is one of the axis refering to intensity or purity of color.

Almost the entire fall season in one shot. I like it a lot.

I like the tight crop and the colors.

Pretty darn sweet, Mel. It may sound funny, but thing I like most is the fallen leaves at the very bottom - it really brings out the feel of fall, more so than just the colors themselves.

Thanks guys.

Two of my favorite thing about this image are the fallen leaves on the rocks and the little spruce in the bottom right corner. The electric colors are great, but these little details complete the image.

Beauty of a shot Mel. I agree that the fallen leaves really enhance the shot - awesome colors as well!!
