Gloomy Gorge Color
I don't usually like grey skies in images but I think it kinda works here. Maybe too much on the top though....

A lot to like about this one Larry! The dramatic sky, the hills fading into the rain squall, the bright river and the soft light off the trees in the front middle ground. The FG tree adds nice color, but the light on the other trees is so nice that I might prefer it if that tree were not in the frame blocking their flow across the scene.

Larry,
This is an excellent shot. I think the tree in the foreground adds depth and color to the scene. That is what makes this image stand apart from most of the other gorge scenes. I wouldn't want to cut much from the top. That large dark cloud adds an ominous mood to the image.

I think this is a VERY interesting sky. Good image all the way around. Nice capture!

Awesome picture. The position of the points of interest is great. My eye travels around this in an S curve, and each aspect along the way is visually pleasing. The colors all compliment each other very well also.
