I am not a member of this area of NPN, but would appreciate your help. I have a continuing education meeting in Anaheim CA in late October. My wife is going with me as after the conference we will go to Yosemite. However, Gail would like to do some nature photography while I am in class. So, are there any serious nature photography location in or near Anaheim, CA that are not Mickey Mouse related? Until we leave for Yosemite we will not have a car, so it needs to be relatively close.

Maybe Seal Beach Wildlife Refuge or Chino Hills State Park, Corona Del Mar State Beach. Seems like a hard thing to do w/ out a car.

Not sure if it is possible to navigate Orange County without a car. There is always Disney's California Adventure.
