Hi.. this is my first post round here.. been a watcher for a while so I thought i'd finally post something.

Taken from recently from Bradgate park, spent around 3 hours following this guy around, trying to line him up in the sun for some backlight, instead he decided to go into a ditch for a wash and emerged with a bit of backlight and had a good shake!

Impressive, I would be tempted to dodge the antlers a wee bit to seperate them from the black BG

Great light, very atmospheric and a great expression.

Just maybe a wee bit tight around around the antlers but no big deal.

Cheers

Had a good session this morning, the light was awesome and the deer are getting very frisky now, need to buy another hard disk lol!

Hi Dave :wavey:

Yeah, I went on what a few people including yourself said and reduced the crop slightly, as it works a lot better on A3. Sometimes I get carried away with other stuff and instant impact rather than thinking of the bigger picture

Seen a lot of Stag pictures this year, but this for me as to be the best one.
