I'll be taking a break from NPN for an undetermined amount of time. Partly due to work, partly due to some personal things that need to be sorted out, and partly due to the fact that lately I've found my photography to be more of a chore versus something I want to do. As such, I've decided that I need to step away from it for a while. This is a great site and a fantastic community of photographers. I've learned a lot here and been inspired. Lord willing, I'll be back. Wishing all of you the best and some sweet light as you shoot. Thanks, Philip.

Just when I hope to visit the flora gallery more, you are taking a break. I'll miss your input there -- especially your attention to mushrooms -- too often neglected. I hope your personal issues work out well. When you see something in nature that interests you, and perhaps triggers that urge to record it for others to see, I hope you will think of NPN and share it with us... and that the act of sharing brings back the happiness you once found in photography.

Best of luck Philip, I'll try to hold up to your output of mushroom photos in the Flora Gallery this fall. I think you're the only one posting those images. I hope to view your images and hear your comments again soon.
