My parents are planning on stopping by Goblin Valley in a few weeks but are seeing that the park campground closes in early Oct? Can anybody confirm this and let me know if camping in the park is available later than Oct?
Thanks.

I checked with my state park ranger buddy and he checked with the ranger at Goblin Valley. The campground is open year-round.

Richie, you will love that campground. It's the nicest and cleanest in Utah, imo. It also has showers which is unusual for desert. It is located in beautiful area surrounded by lovely rocks. Have fun. It's a great choice to visit in late October. Temps should be pleasant.
Dittos above. There are also some "dry" BLM camps if you take the main paved road straight, rather than turn left towards the park (in case the park is full). The only other state park that beats Goblin Valley we've found is Bruneau Dunes State Park in Idaho, which has showers AND free Wi-Fi!

I agree with how nice GV campground is. I seem to recall that you can make reservations if it's any help.
