For Sale/ WTB Canon . 1D MKII / 1Ds MKII

Hi All,

I still have for sale two Canon 1D MKII both in excellent condition, although both could do with having a sensor clean, something I never liked doing so always cloned any dust bunnies out in CS2!!

I am looking for £700 each both with all manuals, boxes etc.

I am selling as I have a 1D MKIII and a 1Ds MKII, which takes me onto my WTB Does anybody have for sale a 1Ds MKII? I would like it to be in excellent condition please, with a low to average shutter count.

Hiya Rob, I've noticed your ad for these before, mainly because I had been interested in buying one of them. The problem these days seems to be that cameras are no longer just cameras, they are now computers. As with computers I think it is becoming increasingly difficult to sell-on older digital models. I have a very limited budget and for me to upgrade I would have to sell my current 30D. That is proving very difficult to do and it would seem that the only answer is to upgrade regularly via part exchange for the latest model. The much vaunted view that digital equipment has taken the cost out of photography is a total farce in my opinion. When shooting film a camera would last for years and top end models would hold their value for yet more years after being replaced with a new model. Anyway, enough rambling on. I am off to appear on 'Grumpy old Men'. If I raise the readies I'll e-mail you to see if you still have them.
