Anyone find another loupe (or another solution) for viewing the LCD display in bright sunlight than the Hoodman?? I'm not sure its available yet from Hoodman and it costs $80.
It seems to work well. I use a Nikon D300 and this fits it.
I use a Hoodman loupe and it works well. There are also various sunshade gizmos that stick over your LCD.

I have a very high-tech, technological solution for this. I pull the top of my shirt up over my head and place it over my camera. Best of all, it costs me nothing but my dignity!
Grant,
I'm glad I've never had to witness that.
I've seen guys use their coats, and leave their shirts down. Try that.

I believe Delkin makes one for various camera models.

thanks for the comments. Right now I use a black cloth but it isn't good enough and doesn't like breezes. I'd use my coat in a pinch, not sure about my shirt though! The Loupe does work well but I'll check out Delkin.
