Eyed Hawkmoth Caterpillar
Taken recently at a Kent Wildlife Trust 50th Anniversary 'do' at my local reserve. Four days later (there were two of them) they disappeared. It looks like they were kidnapped (caterpillarnapped) by someone sadly. Goes to show you can't trust anyone!

40D, 180mm macro, 1/250, f13, ISO 200.

Hopefully they have just gone to pupate in the soil

Nice exposure and composition.

Perhaps the two large OOF circles could be dealt with if you felt inclined and I have to say I don't like the framing but the photo is great

Have never seen one Fran but from this image they look as though they make great subjects.
As said the framing hasnt done this one any favours but the Bg can easily be rectified i think.
A lovely colourful subject.

Nice composittioin and colours - especially like the curve of the caterpillar. I've never liked frames on screen images, so won't comment !!!!!
