Unusual Stream Effect
This image was taken on the hike up to Virginia Falls in Glacier National Park. The water flows over a shelf of the red rock found in those parts. I was taken in by the sharp shoreline, interesting geometry and unusual water color created by the rock. The red color was enhanced by the use of a polarizer to cut reflections and make the water more transparent. I thought it made for something a little out of the ordinary.

Love the lines on both sides of the stream Sean and you captured the reds perfectly. I also like that yellow patch of color at the end of the stream line. The foreground ripples are beautiful.

Very nice, imo. I too like the lines. The color of the rock is incredible.

I like how the water and rocks lead you through to the bright white trailer in the BG.

But at this size it just may be a waterfall. Please provide a clue to me. Thanks,
