Thought I would show you all this one. Rene and I were in Telluride and happened upon this old gas pump. We both have shots from here since we liked the colors and textures in the pump and the fall colors in the background. Not exactly a nature shot. But we thought it was cool.
Gas was only 14 cents a gallon unfortunately they were closed though.
I haven't jumped in to reply to anything....but I like this. Too bad we are not all experiencing 14 cent a gallon for gas. Here in Kansas we are at $2.79 a gallon Anyways..nice nostalgic photo.

This is great, Rich.

Great shot! Like the detail in the pump.

Really cool shot, Rich! I love finding these old rusty things. Nice find. To bad they won't open for business!
No B/W yet. I am sitting on a >100 sheet backlog of B/W film that I really need to get to whenever I can be home for more than 24 hours. The sheet exists someplace.
I really like this, Richie ~ this sort of nostalgia is especially poignant right now. The fall aspend add a lot, too.

Fun image! I can imagine what this must look like on a light table with a loupe. I bet it really pops! There's nothing like a big chrome on a light table.

Great capture. I enjoy photographing and finding things that are old. Its kinda like a treasure hunt and they are disappearing at a rapid rate.
