Tarted up for the Ladies
Took my new 300 f2.8 out this morning in Tatton Park, Cheshire to try and get some Rut shots. I think it'll be in full swing over the next few days as the stags are bellowing at each other but not yet into full combat..This fellow was trying to make his claim over about 20 hinds by making his mark on top of a hill.

The funny thing is I thought he was looking straight at me until I heard the loudest roar come from behind me and the biggest stag in the park was about 20 metres behind me.. Time for sharp exit..

Excellent. Without the grass on the nose and antlers would be good, but with it, it's the icing on the cake.
