Found this guy in the bracken on Thursday morning, announcing his presence endlessly in the misty morning light.

Hi Tim :wavey:

Having seen the other shots from this series over at OCUK I'd say get some of those on here. This is nice but some of the others are REALLY nice

Hi Richard :wavey:

I've got so many from the other morning its taking me ages to go through them, gone through a full box of Hahnemule photo rag paper, printing them out today  I find its difficult deciding what looks best at 720px, and what suits an A3 print, expensive trial and error lol.
Gonna go out again tomorrow morning, looks like theres gonna be some mist, but it'll hopefully burn off between 7-10am, so may be in with a chance.

A moment very well captured. What's OCUK?

Picture would not download, but even at half way looks very tight in frame.

Hi Tim

A tad tight in the frame but still a great image, I really like the expression. :toast:

Nice shot Tim I was there on Thursday morning and everything seemed to be working for a change with the mist, the sun and the deer in the right position, but then some dickhead started to harass the deer and was intent on getting closer but just spooked all the females and they went off into the woods with the stag in hot pursuit. I find some photographers just have to put the image first and to hell with the subject and I am finding this a more common practice nowdays. I hope to bump into him again

Cheers Danny!

Drives you nuts doesn't it, one day they'll push it too far and end up getting charged by a 16 pointer.

Down at Bushy a women walking her dog got physically pushed in to a pond by a stag a week or so ago and. Also on sunday we bumped in to a photographer who showed us some damage to his tripod from a stag that he stumbled upon hidden in the bracken a week previous

A nice setting and pose but find the OOF bright leaves on the left a bit distracting
