Barn owl...again.
Hi all

Out again this evening at the barn owl site. Tried the hide in a different place this time in an effort to get some portrait shots. This barnie obliged.
Couple of shorties also showed up again tonight but were immediately chased off by rooks. I've never liked rooks!

Apologies for being a serial poster over the past few days but I'm working hard on these owls and its nice to get some feedback other than the missus going "ooh, that's a nice one"!

Hi Simon,

Yes you're working hard and boy oh boy is it paying off. To have SEO and Barnies on the same patch is excellent, and you are making the most of the oppurtunity. Really really like this, the light is amazing, composition is spot on and love the head turn. Guess it was pot luck which way it landed on the perch, but back on shows that stunning plumage.

It's not soft but try giving it another 4 rounds of USM at rates 100, 0.2, 0. It really makes it "pop"

Your wife says the same things as mine

Regards

Rob
