Little sparrow bathing
Hello friends,
this week I was out with my bag hide and my new lens a Nikon 600/5,6 MF.
It is only 2,8 kilo. I use it with an adapter on my EOS 20D. And I love it. The image quality of this lens is fantastic. I can focuse it with two fingers, no running away AF. Together with the Manfrotto 501 head it is a joy to work with.
Canon 20D, Nikon MF 600/5,6, Gitzo Studex, Manfrotto 501 head, ISO 400
1/160, f8, only 4:3 crop,
C and C always welcome,
thanks for looking,
:wavey:

Hi Bertl,

Nice action shot, of these interesting little birds. Not overly keen on the big OoF area at the front but not a lot you could do I presume.

How are you using a Nikon lens on a Canon body  or am I missing something

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob,
thanks for you comment,
I use an adapter Nikon on EOS from China (ebay). I shoot with working aperture and auto shutter.

I like sparrows and this is a lovely shot. The fg is a bit distracting but the flying water droplets make it for me. Makes a change to see one bathing in running water and not in a puddle.

I love this, I think it is a brilliant picture - a lovely simple scene and the sparrow really sharp - colours, just right!

Nice details, nice colours. I would crop a little from the bottom to minimise the OOF foreground. Then you'd probably have to lose a little from the right too.

Nice to see a sparrow again, a rarity round here now :frown: Very well captured indeed.

The water makes it for me - both the drops and the flowing stream. Really nice
