Hood Racer
Spent a happy hour watching this snake stalk, strike and swallow this Lava lizard. Not a great image, but considering I had to wriggle into a very thorny bush past my shoulders on my "not built for wriggling" belly while trying not to scratch the EF28-300 L I'd borrowed and not stick my foot into the mess of Marine Iguanas basking behind me, I'm well pleased!!

Well it really is very clever - brilliant image - I think I would have run in the opposite direction!

It's about time John :wavey:

Well worth the wait, but glad to see you were not on the menu! How are the settings now, working?

Sorry John, meant to add, IMHO I would crop just above the lizards foot

Nice shot John, if you have anymore from the sequence I'd like to see those as well.

Andy...

a very interesting shot, may I ask in which country this was taken? I agree with Stephen's suggestion for a slight crop, but you've captured the moment well.

Interesting and well taken image, especially considering the harsh light and conditions. Agree about cropping a little from the top.
Robert.
