Vine Maple from last week

Taken on Tuesday. The damp weather is causing the leaves to become mildewed and spotted now so close-ups aren't quite so desirable anymore.

Beautiful Autumn colors. My only nit is that the white highlights are a bit distracting.

Is there any way to post on our local NW forum without it being in this critique mode?

Generally, if you aren't up for critique on an image you post, you can always say so when you post it. I've seen several people, including myself, post photos to share that aren't interested in critique and are just sharing. I expect, and I think most people do as well, that I'm going to receive some kind of critical feedback on every photo unless I note that it's informational, and even then you might still get some feedback. Hans said that it included beautiful colors, and only had one nit, which isn't like he ripped your photograph apart.

The other think you could have done, if it was intended to be informational, was post it in the fall color update.
