Late afternoon on the South Lake road, below Pracher's Resort, no one else around. Lots of color in the Bishop area, hardly any wind and daytime temps in the valley in the low to mid 80's.

Very pretty. When was this taken? I was on Sonora Pass on Friday and it was freezing.
Oh wow!! Reno. Make me feel bad reading your input on this image with regards to no wind, and no one else around too. I know exactly where this spot is and have a few images from years back from right around there. The contrasting colors are super. Makes for a really nice capture overall, thanks for sharing.

Beautiful. Love those reds you've added to the scene.

Stunning colors Reno. I think the image is on the warm side however

What a nice arrangement of color and granite you captured here. I might favor pulling the midtones and low highlights back a little. It looks a little on the high key side to me, but it seems I'm the only one perceiving that so take that into consideration. Nice work!

Reno,
Great color combo and arrangement of the elements. I would say also that it's a little heavy on my monitor - like a bit too much of curves/levels maybe? Otherwise, a very nice Eastern Sierra scene.
