This is going to be real nice in a matter of days Rod. Nice reflection and I like the gentle sweeping shoreline. Looking forward to seeing what you all produce this fall from beautiful Arkansas!

I love reflections. This will be even more beautiful in a few days I'm sure. Where may I ask is Erbie located Rod?

Amanda,
About 5 miles north of Jasper on Hwy 7 you will see a sign for the turn off to Erbie. This gravel road goes to the west. Erbie relates to a campground now but used to be a community.

Hi Amanda, Erbie is located in the northwestern part of Arkansas, south of Harrison, AR. A number of our forum participants live in that area of Arkansas. Over the last couple of years the CSNP forum has been organizing Spring and Fall photo outings in the area to catch the beautiful spring waterfalls & wildflowers and fall color.

If you've never been to the area, put it on your list!

Great color and composition, Rod. Nice to see some good water in the river too!

It is hard to improve on nature's own imaging system . . . reflection on still waters. In my own work I tend to try for more of a balance between image and reflection with the waterline closer to the middle of the fame. But that is just personal taste. The colors are wonderfully varied and interesting. I like the picture very much.
