Cades Cove Foggy Morning

I'm camping in Townsend, TN this week. Thought you guys might like a report on Cades Cove. Fall Color just is not here. Just lots of yellow and brown. I came here this week to photograph the deer but even they have not been moving much the last couple of days. Saw 1 bear just after dark on Saturday evening on my way out.

Traffic was terrible over the weekend. Much better today.(Monday)

This photo was taken Sunday Morning. We had a little fog yesterday. Just sunny and clear this morning. I processed this on my crappy travel computer. Not sure how it will turn out online.

I'm planning to drive up to Clingmans this evening just to see what I can see.

Thanks for the report Paul. Yes, the 10th and 11th is to early for color in the Cove.

Lovely layers and foggy frosting :-) That's a shame about not seeing much wildlife.
