Last weekend, I went to bishop area for the first time. I also went to mountain light gallery for the first time. Now, i know why photographer love this area.
Friday morning did not snow, i was up at north lake for sunrise, very windy and freezing cold, but by afternoon it snowed a lot. This was taken on my way to North Lake the next day.

Nice tones and framing of the subject matter. I might favor a slight crop from the left and top sides to minimize or eliminate those brighter areas of the ice. Other than that, this more than works for me... well done!
thanks a lot for the suggestions Eric. I will try the crop.
Thanks, Murali

Very nice work Murali! Love the balance between the ice and leaves.

Very nice intimate scene, Murali. It's a simple scene, but tells the story of changing seasons very well. To Eric's suggestion, I agree the highlights up there are a bit distracting. I'd be tempted to clone or "heal" them as opposed to cropping as I like the balance created by the current format.
Thanks Rick, agree cloning seems to be right way to go. Thanks for the feedback !!

Murali,
This is terrific! Other than the previously mentioned ideas about the bright stripe in the UL, this is an excellent b&w and a wonderful, intimate scene.
