Nancy & I went whale watching out of Anacortes yesterday with Sean and Inge Watson. We searched all the way past Victoria and into Canadian waters before we found the Humpback whales we were looking for! We did over 80 miles round trip so it was a loooooooooooooooong day for sure but oh so fun!!

So lemme know what yall think of this one!

Rick,
Was that in your sea kayak's? . Looks like it was well worth the effort.

No kayaks this time Erik! 80 miles in one day would totally kill me!! This was on a much larger vessel!! But I still froze my tail off waiting for and watching the plethora of sea life we saw!!

That would would be a turbo charged sea kayak I think. Nice shot, must have been exciting to see them.

Glad this came out for you. Inge got some with them spouting, but none of mine show a coherent stream. Nice job.

What was I thinking with the sea kayak. :jump: I've canoed 15 miles before on a flatwater racing canoe before and it was tough. I guess I didn't have much of an idea how fast the kayaks were.
