The Summer hung on for the weekend. Whilst nearly every one chased the big fellas around, Mitch and I ran around after this and waited for it to land with the sun behind . Obliged in the end.

Hi John,
I like these macro shots,
I try to imagine you running around.
Some times I would wish to see a video about all our crazy activities.
From mine too. It would be very funny I think

Very nice John. There do still seem to be a lot of butterflies around ATM.

a lovely shot John, these always look nice with the sun through the wings. Nicely composed.

Interesting as a record shot John, but too dark in the shadows for me. I think they must be making up for lost time, it seems to have been a terrible year for butterflies around here. Eric

A lovely composition John, how sad that there won't be any more like this for some little time. I love the colour and detail.
