La Sal Mountains aspens
Here is an image made last week in the La Sal Mountains outside Moab. I got a chance to spend a week in Canyonlands, Arches, and the La Sals. Great location for those who have yet to get there.

We got lucky enough to see some rian over Canyonlands and a good sunrise once in Arches too. We had some severe clear on a few days and made them fall color drives into the La Sal's. This was one of my favorites.

BTW- I am not sure if I have ever heard this suggestion for a place to eat in Moab, but I give two thumbs up to Milts on 400 East Street as a fantastic hamburger stand. Ordering at the outside window and sitting under the tree at a picnic table was a great way to catch a lunch. A great green chile cheeseburger too!

Neat shot, Darren. Like that sunburst and the almost dreamy quality to the shot. I spent a couple of days in the La Sals this fall as well and am convinced that I'll need to revisit the area again next year.

Dreamy is what I was thinking, too. Stately, also. Great shot!

I like the glow in the leaves. Very nice!

Killer composition and I agree with dreamy aspects as well :toast:
