Taken on Saturday at the Richmond meet. And firstly I would like to say that it was a pleasure to meet some of you and put faces to names. And also thanks to Phil for arranging an enjoyable day.
Frederic, this is the SHOT that I 'got yesterday'
It was a job to isolate this pair, and cope with the harsh light. I have toned it down in places, and left the offending hinds in place, although I cropped a bit off the LHS for composition.
I am aware the image isn't perfect, but felt it was worth sharing.
Am having internet connection problems at the moment, so my apologies for the lack of activity here. Will get sorted asap!

Excellent behavioural image Fran. To my eye it looks as if it could do with a very small amount of counter clockwise rotation.

You did very well to capture the moment, let alone the difficulty of light.. Even got the flick of the tongue..! Well done Fran. Good natural history work.

I'm in tears. What a moment.
I envy you!!!!
Thanks for making me cry
Seriously, this is one of the moments I'm hoping for. Red Deer is a quite difficult species over here.
Well done.

He seems to be concentrating hard, he is probably missing match of the day. She looks like she is thinking about tomorrow's shopping list.
Great shot Fran. Life in action - just how it should be. Eric
Very impressive Fran,
the pose of the stag is ...... victory!!!
Compliments,
Bertl

Hi Fran
Good to meet you on Sunday, haven't been able to comment for the last 3 days as I could not 'log in'. You certainly caught the action and the blooded face is a real bonus!

Thanks once again guys.
I know what you all mean about the ccw rotate, but if I did that I would lose part of the oof stags antlers on the rhs., which I didn't want to do.
