Taken in my daughters garden earlier this year, in Hampton, Middlesex, from one of my first prototype hides, 20+ years old. I had to dismantle the feeders/perches as a local cat has taken to sleeping on the hides roof. The feeders have now been moved, but I wasn’t allowed to take down the hide, as it is real “cool” as my grandson says, for his “camp”.
I now have permission to work a very exciting area of mature Oak woodland in Hampton, so hopefully, I can really get down to some really serious work locally.
Nikon D2x using a Nikkor 200-400 f4 @ 330mm, 1/50 @ f4 -1/3 @ 200ASA. Full Wimberley, tripod mounted, electric cable release. Processed in CS2.
Note to oneself, find out what the b****y tree is.

Nice picture Ray ( no flash I hope !)
I reckon it could be improved with a little cropping adjustment like a little off the top and some room on the right so the bird is singing into the shot. ( I presume it was a crop ?)
Its a little contrasty with the shoulder and wing whites blown a bit.
Maybe my monitor
Cheers
